WHAT IS Loomly?

Loomly is a social media management tool that is up there with the likes of Hootsuite, Zoho, and Buffer. It is used to schedule social media posts in advance, track analytics, manage interactions, and develop post ideas.

WHAT CAN Loomly DO?

Loomly can handle most of your social media needs all within the confines of a simple-to-use app. By connecting your different social media apps, it takes as little as 6 steps to set up a post. You can plan your whole next month of posts to all your social media platforms, you can pick the time and the day that you want it to post, you can pick which social media accounts it will post to, you can create a generic post then, for each social media, you can customize the content for each different application.

On top of simplicity and ease of planning, with the right subscription, you can use the analytics feature which provides you with many different stats for each social media account you have attached. You can also use the analytics to view each post on the different social medias and see how it did. These stats are very useful for someone trying to keep track of all of their social medias in a broad sense and trying to grow their brand.

Loomly also allows you to invite multiple people to view calendars and work together. (The amount of people you are allowed depends on the plan you pay for, but all of the social media management apps are run like this).

Another huge advantage of Loomly is the post idea generator it comes equipped with. The generator shows multiple events, special days, holidays, and trending topics for every day of the month. It comes in handy when you are trying to grow your audience and post consistently.

WHY DID WE PICK Loomly?

There are many social media management applications, so why did we pick Loomly?

The answer is simple and has multiple parts. First off, Loomly happened to have the cheapest plan with the most features for our size company. For around what I feel is half the price of some of these other social media management tools, you get just about the same amount of capability. The next reason would be simplicity. At AllReitz Group, inc. simplicity is huge as we ate very busy all the time and don’t have extra time to spend on something that should be simple, to begin with. Loomly had a simple-to-understand interface and program. It also made it super straightforward how to set up posts and keep things organized in a calendar view for me and my team. Very nice!! Lastly would be the post idea generator that comes with Loomly. As posting consistently is a huge advantage to social media, it was getting difficult for me to keep up with all the accounts we have, let alone coming up with content to keep up with a consistent and often posting schedule. With Loomly’s post ideas, I get a break every once in a while. When I have a gap to fill and can’t come up with anything. I can just use the idea generator to cover that day and boom, problem solved quickly and efficiently.

HOW DO WE USE Loomly?

I supposed here at ARGI we use Loomly how most would use it I expect. As I have only had it for a little over a month now, I am still learning the ins and outs of it, but it has already made my life way more organized and simpler. At the beginning of every month, we typically have a meeting to discuss the next few weeks of content and marketing. After we have that meeting, I typically jump right to Loomly and start to design the next month’s worth of posts. It allows me to stay ahead of the game and be very organized. I still check Loomly almost every day because typically stuff ends up moving around every day as we stay very busy here, but without it, I would lose track of posts and would surely not stay up to date on my social medias.

Overall, we have benefitted and enjoyed using Loomly and would recommend that those looking for a social media management software try it as well!
